The Delphion Intellectual
Property Network (IPN) has evolved into a premier Web site for searching,
viewing, and analyzing patent documents. The IPN provides you with free
access to a wide variety of data collections and patent information including:
United States patents, European patents and patent applications, PCT application
data from the World Intellectual Property Office, Patent Abstracts of Japan,
INPADOC family and legal status data, IBM Technical Disclosure Bulletins.
Searching is fast and easy. Along with simple keyword search, IPN offers
alternative searches by patent number, boolean text, and advanced text
that allows for multiple field searching. Browsing provides an organized
approach to searching for patents. Through a review of specific classifications,
you can identify topics and patents of interest. All collections are cross
referenced and forward and backward linked to all other referencing documents
for immediate access to related information. Other standard features include:

Inventors Association
The
UIA is a tax exempt, not for profit corporation formed in 1990 solely for
educational purposes. The mission of the UIA is to provide leadership,
support, and services to inventor support groups and independent inventors.
Membership is extended to these as well as to others who provide reputable
service and support to the inventor community. The Inventors' Awareness
Center is the inventor education and advocacy program of UIA and is presented
in detail under the section "Red Flag Warnings."The UIA is sponsored by

Database (antigua Impadoc) Organización Mundial de la Propiedad
Industrial (OMPI-WIPO)
Recoge
información sobre patentes de los países más importante
del mundo: su origen está en el tratado internacional sobre Cooperación
en Materia de Patentes (PCT) por el cual todos los países miembros
de la OMPI están obligados a depositar la referencia bibliográfica
con resumen de las patentes que registran en sus países. La Gaceta
del PCT en formato electrónico es una base de datos de información
de patentes con los datos de las primeras páginas (datos bibliográficos,
resumen y dibujos) de las solicitudes PCT publicadas y que permiten la
recuperación de información en modalidad de búsqueda
total y visualización por los usuarios según necesiten. Los
datos de las primeras páginas de las solicitudes publicadas cada
semana en la Sección I de la Gaceta se añaden a la base de
datos, para permitir la búsqueda y visualización de la semana
en curso o de la totalidad o cualquier subconjunto de la base de datos
que se requiera.

Contiene
datos bibliográficos de documentos de Patentes y Modelos de Utilidad
tramitados por el Estatuto de la Propiedad Industrial y por la nueva Ley
de Patentes de 20 de marzo de 1986, así como las Patentes Europeas
y las solicitadas vía PCT que designen a España. Además
se dispone de las imágenes publicadas en el BOPI desde 1998 y en
proceso la retrospectiva de las patentes y modelos tramitados por la Nueva
Ley de Patentes. Se complementa con la base de datos Modindu, que contiene
información sobre Dibujos y Modelos industriales desde 1968, así
como el texto de las variantes solicitadas, con imágenes desde 1998.
