Ph. D. IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AND QUANTITATIVE METHODS |
The main objective of
this PhD program is the formation of researchers of international calibre
in all areas related to Business Administration and Statistical Sciences.
Current theoretical or applied research in fields such as Finance, Accounting, Organization or Management contains an important quantitative element. Equally, these fields offer important opportunities for applications of research in Statistical Inference, Operational Research and, in general, of all those statistical techniques related with the Social Sciences.
The PhD program in Business
Administration and Quantitative Methods represents an important collaboration
between the two fields while, at the same time, allowing the student the
chance to specialize in either one of them. Thus, the student of
this program will gain a well rounded research background without the deficiencies
in knowledge that could limit his or her future research prospects.
