La Prof. Christine Korsgaard se licenció por la Universidad de Illinois y se doctoró por la Universidad de Harvard. Desde entonces ha impartido clases en la universidades de Yale, California y Chicago antes de establecerse en su posición actual en la Universidad de Harvard. Recientemente ha impartido clases sobre la Teoría Ética Kantiana, El pensamiento político y religioso de Kant, la Teoría Etica de Hume, Historia de la Filosofía Moral moderna y Filosofía Política. Sus intereses giran en torno a la filosofía moral y su historia, especialmente la conexión entre la Ética y la razón práctica.
